Rockpool Cottage is a recently refurbished cottage in the village of Port William on a seafront location. The property is furnished to a high standard and aims to provide a luxurious and comfortable stay for every guest. The house has two upstairs bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with twin beds which can be made into a superking bed on request. There is one upstairs bathroom (with bath and shower over) and a downstairs WC. The sitting room has two sofas and a log burner. The dining room has a table with four seats and could be used as a separate work area. The wifi is included and is high speed. The kitchen has all modern appliances including dishwasher, microwave, fridge with small freezer section, washing machine and Nespresso coffeee machine. Apple Cottage is a recently refurbished cottage in the centre of the conservation village of Bladnoch. The property is furnished to a high standard and aims to provide a luxurious and comfortable stay for every guest. The house has three bedrooms, two upstairs (one king & one twin which can be made into a superking) and one downstairs (double). There are two bathrooms, both with separate showers and one includes a bath. For relaxing, there is a sitting room with log burner, a television space and a conservatory. The large kitchen includes a kitchen table (seats 6) and a log burner. We have provided books and games for our guests use. There is a large mature garden at the back of the property which includes numerous plants and shrubs as well as several apple trees. Our hut is sited with uninterrupted views of the River Cree and the Galloway Hills in the distance. On warmer summer evenings relax outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery, but if it’s wet and windy retreat inside where you will be warm and toasty beside the wood buring stove.
Our shepherd’s hut sleeps 2 in a double bed. Please ask if you wish to bring additional guests (small charge).There is an en-suite compost WC, but no shower facility. All bed linen and towels are provided, along with blankets for colder days.
There is NO Wi-Fi, very limited phone signal and NO hot tub but what you do have is books, cards, board games and a radio to keep you entertained.
There is a wood burner with a rocking chair, and a basket full of logs (additional can be purchased). There is a small gas stove with kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. Bottled water is provided for drinking. Power is supplied by a solar panel on the hut roof. There is a socket if you do need to charge your phone. No mains electric.
A continental breakfast is available by prior arrangement (additional charge).
Sorry no pets as we are a working farm and sheep may be grazing around the hut at certain times of the year. Off road parking is available. There is a short walk to the hut across a field with no hard path so please wear sensible shoes.

A tiny log-burning stove heats the hut, and there’s a mini-oven with a grill and 2 hotplates for rustling up all your mealtime needs. Store your provisions in the under-counter larder fridge. Hot and cold running water, as well as logs, firelighters and kindling are provided. Free Wi-fi. A shower and loo supplied with toiletries and toilet rolls and fluffy White Company towels complete the facilities on offer inside the Hut.

We would love to welcome you to The Steading Cottage at Kirkmabreck which has been worked by our family for four generations, almost 100yrs. This recently renovated farm cottage sits in the heart of a busy working, upland farm which breeds native Black face Sheep and Galloway cattle, it is known as The Home of The White Galloway.
The Farm sits on a hillside overlooking the beautiful Wigtown Bay with panoramic views over the “Machars” and out to the Irish Sea and the Isle of Man. It is three miles outside Creetown and ideally placed for anyone wishing to explore this unspoilt coastline and hills.
This area has so much to offer visitors from the thrill seekers racing round the mountain bike tracks at Kirroughtree to those just wanting to sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet, admiring the daytime views and the night time dark skies, free from light pollution. We are also trying to do our bit for the environment and have our own wind turbine on the hillside generating electricity.
Glenquicken is a working farm with sheep, horses, hens, pedigree Galloway cattle and working dogs. We also run a trout fishery. The farm is open for exploration by our guests and we have an abundance of wildlife with deer, hares, pheasants, ducks, buzzards, hawks and numerous garden birds. We even have our own resident white barn owl.
Our cottages are maintained and furnished to a high standard and all rooms have stunning views of the Galloway countryside. The water in the cottages is supplied by our own spring which rises deep in the hill behind the farm. The water is very pure and clean as it is filtered through Galloway granite and the sand and gravel deposited from a long-gone glacier which once covered our glen. Car parking is available outside the cottages in a private area set aside for this purpose.
Lodge Cottage was once the granary and bothy for the farm that have now been carefully and sympathetically converted into a very comfortable cottage containing all modern-day conveniences while retaining an old-world character. Again, the views from

The large garden to the rear offers outdoor drinking and dining in true ‘al fresco’ style. We can arrange a total golfing break whilst saving you money on normal green fees. Flowerbank Guest House, an attractive 18th Century listed building, sits on the picturesque banks of the River Cree, in over an acre of private landscaped gardens. Flowerbank’s five letting rooms can accommodate couples, families, groups of friends and single holidaymakers alike.
Flowerbank’s extensive garden runs right to the bank of the river with plentiful shaded and sunny seating areas (including a summerhouse) for guests to relax. Our secure outbuilding allows those guests who choose to explore the area on bike with the perfect spot to lock away their bikes in the evening.
Flowerbank is just across the river from Newton Stewart an excellent base from which to explore Dumfries and Galloway, particularly the Galloway Hills and the areas many fine golf courses. Our position just three miles from the coast also allows guests to explore the beautiful coastline of South-West Scotland.

The area has abundant wildlife which can often be seen from the cottage. There is ample parking and an enclosed garden. The A75 is two miles away giving easy access to numerous beaches, golf courses and the Galloway Forest Park, Britain’s first designated Dark Skies Park. The local section of the 7Stanes mountain bike network is very close by at Kirroughtree. Shops, restaurants, pubs and cinema are all 3 miles away in the local market town of Newton Stewart.
Set in the market town of Newton Stewart, a 30-minute drive from Stranraer, Rowallan Guest House was built in 1880. Guests benefit from free parking and free Wi-Fi.
All the rooms are located on the first floor and some have view of the garden and over Galloway hills. They all have en suite facilities, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
